Stained Glass Beech Leaf Sun Catcher

This hand crafted Beech Tree leaf showcases 8 different shades and textures of stained glass, from green to yellow, to orange, to red. Made by hand in the 'Tiffany' copper foil tradition it is finished with a delicate wire stem from which to hang it.  Place at a sunny window and this little leaf will cast colourful sunbeams and shapes when it catches the light. Place in front of a lamp or tealight in the evening for delicate shimmers and a warm glow. There's a reason the mighty Beech Tree is often called the 'Queen of British Trees' with its majestic in size and strength; it's huge branches harbour an abundance of wildlife.  Beech Trees are often associated with themes of strength, knowledge and patience. 

Crafted over several hours in my little Staffordshire garden studio, these pieces are made with love and skill, and make beautiful gifts for yourself or for loved ones.
